Time For Concessions from Politicians

It seems that everyone is demanding concessions from the private sector, well, how about from Politicians? Reducing their benefits and their salaries would certainly make it easier on Canadian Taxpayers during these troubling times. Reduce their holidays, extend the number of work days, reduce allowable expenses to start. Then, reduce their salaries to match those of the politicians in Asia. While we are at it, we should demand that they work a minimum of 30 years in Government before they can collect a full pension from the Canadian taxpayer. Who do you know outside of Politics gets a full pension after 8 years? Come on everybody, lets demand a restructuring of the political salaries and benefit packages to match those of the typical Canadian Family, then we can welcome them back to the real world.
